Throwing in the last bale

So today was my last run of my 2010 Lincoln Marathon training. The plan is 100% rest Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I've heard the adage "the hay is in the barn" quite a number of times in reference to marathon training. The work is done. The miles have been logged. All the preparations have been made. All the hay is in the barn.

Now I just have to run it.

The last workout was a 1 mile warm up, 2 miles at my target race pace and then a 1 mile cool down. As with quite a number of my spring runs, I battled the wind on this one. My legs felt pretty good and effort wise felt better than average for the speed I was carrying.

Wednesday: 4.03 miles. 7:32 min/mile overall pace (7:02, 6:53 MP splits)
