Another 50 degree February day! Went for a 3-miler after lunch outside. There were a couple of large groups heading out for runs today at work, unfortunately I had meetings that overlapped with all of them. So I ended up going on my own, which I don't mind at all anyways.
I headed a different direction than I have before when leaving work. I ran north/east from work up towards Freedom Park. Much different scenery than the Iowa runs. This quick 3 mile out and back passed by such interesting sights as the Omaha Correctional Center's workout yard, the Anchor Inn and a submarine the USS Marlin. Not to mention a lot of very decayed and dangerous looking industrial waste.
Thursday: 3 Miles. 9:06 minute/mile pace with an average heart rate of 150bpm.
